Cheap conversion would simply have everyone skipping straight to T10 where they can never be uptiered. The tier 5-9 premium camos are already somewhat dubious purchases because they take several hundred games to be worth the doubloon cost and that's with conversions being expensive. If they make conversion cheap, they'd just get less people buying premium time, buying PapaPapa flags and camos. It should be more expensive that way than to actually grind within the desired line (getting german BBs by playing german BBs with premium time and camo and flags) It is for people who want a german battleship without ever playing any german battleships. Play the ship before the desired ship and receive Ship XP, Captain XP and Free XP at the same time with total gains easily being 3-5x as much as converting doubloons.Ĭonversion is the impatience fee. If you want efficient XP, buy premium camos on sale (or crates/events), flags (or get them from crates and events) and premium account (a day at a time, or a year when it's on big sale.
